MarketAir is one of the branded names in manufacturing and producing RoughinBox. The company designs and engineers several models of Rough-in Boxes. Recently, it introduced the RoughinBox RBX-3, the versatile redesign of the original RoughinBox for VRF, VRV, or mini-split applications. The RBX-3 includes an extra lineset port (total 5 lineset entry ports) and offers side as well as bottom drain outlets that will reduce overall installation time.
The four redesigned mounting brackets of RBX-3 are pre-notched for use with metal studs, thereby removing the need to adjust the metal studs during its installation which is a feature of the previous models. The high density, blow-molded, and black RoughinBox is seamless and waterproof. It simplifies mini-split and VRF/ VRV evaporator rough-in time by providing a central point with dedicated ports for line sets, condensate hose and electrical cabling to securely and easily enter and terminate.
