Rakhna Araslanova, MD is a fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a comprehensive surgical background in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Araslanova specializes in craniofacial reconstruction, facial paralysis rehabilitation as well as aesthetic facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Araslanova has numerous scientific publications and presentations within her field of expertise. Her research interests include improving quality of life following facial reconstruction, as well as improving our understanding and consequently management of facial paralysis. She is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Head and Neck Society, and AO Craniomaxillofacial. She serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the Little Baby Face Foundation, providing pro bono surgical care to children with craniofacial birth defects.
