Dr. Michael Coyer is a DIPLOMATE of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery® and is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery®.
Dr. Coyer is a highly trained Orange County Foot and Ankle Surgeon with extensive experience in the latest treatments for foot and ankle conditions in Orange County. He specializes in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery in Orange County, including minimally invasive surgical techniques, corrective and reconstructive foot surgery, corrective and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, pediatric foot conditions, and sports medicine. Dr. Coyer is a member of the medical staff at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, Hoag Hospital - Irvine, and several surgery centers throughout Orange County. In addition, Dr. Coyer is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS) with offices in Irvine, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, and Orange, CA for your convenience.
Dr. Coyer completed his undergraduate education in his home state of Michigan. He then obtained his medical degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH having graduated in the top 1/3 of his class. He continued on to complete a comprehensive three-year surgical residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic / Mercy Health Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery Residency program in Cleveland, OH. While in residency training, he completed numerous rotations within the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, the #2 top rated U.S. Hospital.
