Newport News Behavioral Health Center is located in Newport News, Virginia, and is a residential treatment facility (RTF) that serves boys and girls, ages 11 to 18. Our treatment services are intended to help residents address psychiatric and substance use issues. We strive to provide a stable environment so residents can wholly focus on recovery. Our new acute care facility is located next to the RTF. It serves children and teens, ages 8 to 17, who suffer from a mental health crisis. The goal is to help them deescalate so they may return home or to a lesser level of care.
