Dr. Lauren Brown grew up in Inman, SC and then attended College of Charleston, where she graduated magna cum laude while studying Biology and Spanish. She earned her M.D. from MUSC, which is also where she completed her residency. Dr. Brown then joined the Department of ObGyn at MUSC where she provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services. Her clinical interests include pregnancy, vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), gynecologic surgery, sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment, and contraception & family planning.
