Dr. Mia Kazanjian was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2016. Dr. Kazanjian graduated from Brown University and was selected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society her junior year. She was accepted early to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine's Humanities and Medicine program, from which she received her medical degree in 2010. Dr. Kazanjian completed her first year of radiology training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical Center, with rotations at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She then spent four years in Palo Alto, California, at Stanford University Hospital, graduating from their radiology residency in 2015. She dedicated her last year of residency at Stanford to fellowship-level training in body imaging, focused on advanced modalities of CT, ultrasound, and MRI. She then completed a full year fellowship in breast imaging at Stanford University Hospital in 2016.
Dr. Kazanjian has been the director of breast imaging in her practice since 2018. She is currently the co-director of Stamford Health’s Breast Center.
Dr. Kazanjian was selected by the physician community in the Castle Connolly annual survey as one of the Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area, 2024.
