I am originally from the Dominican Republic but moved to New York when I was 12 years old. I eventually returned to the Dominican Republic to attend medical school before becoming a permanent Florida resident in 2004. I am fluent in English and Spanish and also understand some Italian and Portuguese. I chose to pursue a degree in medicine to fulfill my childhood dream. I always have enjoyed helping people and learning new things, and medicine puts my love of studying and helping others front and center. A good day at work for me is when I can fully understand my patients’ concerns and providing comprehensive treatment.
