Dr. Paulina Liberman, M.D, is an assistant professor of ophthalmology specializing in ocular immunology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine, located at its East Baltimore and Odenton facilities. Dr. Liberman has focused her clinical practice on the treatment and management of uveitis, employing advanced therapeutic methods to prevent and mitigate vision loss. Her approach combines rigorous clinical care with extensive research aimed at improving treatment protocols for ocular inflammation.
Before her appointment at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Liberman directed the uveitis division at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile’s Department of Ophthalmology, where she integrated clinical care with academic initiatives. She has extensive experience in cataract and refractive surgery, in which she aims to achieve optimal visual outcomes through precise surgical techniques and thorough preoperative planning.
