Jack Eskridge is a professional guitarist, composer, recording artist, and music educator who has been performing and teaching throughout the San Francisco Bay Area since 1967. A pioneer of the late 1960s psychedelic rock movement, he led the original recording groups Strawberry Window and Dandelion Wine before expanding into folk, rock, pop, funk, blues, fusion, and jazz throughout the 1970s. Since 1980, Jack has become recognized for his original jazz compositions, creative arrangements of standards, and distinctive guitar style influenced by Wes Montgomery, George Benson, and Joe Pass. He offers professional guitar instruction from his private studio while continuing to perform regularly with his jazz group.
