A Colorado native from the Denver Metro Area, Dr. Daniel Clymer is an experienced and highly-skilled foot and ankle surgeon and is Board Certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both Forefoot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery .
He graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a degree in Biology, then pursued his career in podiatric surgery by attending Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating in 2012, Dr. Clymer remained in Philadelphia for his residency training at Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center in the University of Pennsylvania Health System. While there, he had the honor of being selected to serve his final year as Chief Resident. It was during this time that he acquired his knowledge of diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, learning from several industry leaders. Following his residency, Dr. Clymer headed to KentuckyOne Health-University of Louisville, in Louisville, Kentucky to complete his fellowship training with an emphasis on traumatic lower extremity injuries. He then brought all this wealth of knowledge and skill back to Colorado, and is proud to call the Denver Metro area home again!
From an early age, Dr. Thompson knew he wanted to become a physician. He was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan and attended Central Michigan University where he received his undergraduate degree in Health Fitness. From there he attended Western Michigan University, where he obtained a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. He went on to complete medical school at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, and completed his surgical residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Wayne, Michigan.
During his residency, he focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and sports medicine. It was during this time he learned to treat patients with great care and compassion, and the importance of educating them on their conditions. These are lessons he has carried with him, and continues to practice each day.
Dr. Thompson is married, with two children. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
Dr. Daniel has been practicing medicine for 20+ years and is proud to call Colorado home. He believes the Colorado countryside and the community of caring people are a blessing. His secondary education initiated at Iowa State University where he majored in Microbiology. Subsequently, he attended Des Moines University School of Medicine where he completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree to achieve his quest of becoming a physician. During his medical training, he had the opportunity to participate in multiple medical externships around the country which allowed valuable exposure to the various technologies and techniques available in modern medicine. Ultimately, this course led to his post graduate medical training and surgical residency at Stanford University Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. His post graduate training included an extensive amount of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, and primary clinical care. In addition, he experienced extensive training in multiple collaborative specialties provided through the Stanford University setting as well as the Palo Alto/Livermore Veterans Administrative Medical Center systems. This concomitant medical care allowed significant exposure to whole body healthcare with a solid understanding of how the human body is truly an amazing, elaborate, integrated machine.
Dr. Katie Lyn Neidecker grew up in Florida and studied at the University of West Florida before receiving her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Neidecker completed her residency at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA, where she received extensive training in podiatric medicine and surgery. She also spent a year working at the Cleveland Clinic. Her areas of interest include general podiatric medicine, sports-related and overuse injuries, biomechanics, orthotics, etc. Dr. Neidecker is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABFAS).
Dr. Neidecker has always been an active individual. She is no stranger to foot and ankle injuries herself, which sparked her interest in sports medicine and her pursuit of becoming a foot and ankle specialist. She knows how aggravating foot and ankle injuries and pain can be and is determined to get you back to doing all the things you love. In her free time, Dr. Neidecker enjoys hiking, biking, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Brian Oase is a native of the Southwest Region completing his undergraduate training in New Mexico and graduate training at Midwestern University Podiatry Program in Glendale Arizona in 2011. Returning to New Mexico, he completed three years of surgical residency at the VA Hospital caring for complex patients. Dr. Oase moved to Colorado in 2017 to be closer to family and has worked with Podiatry Associates since. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Oase enjoys hiking with his wife in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, distance and trail running, and spending time with their dogs.
With extensive medical and surgical training and over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Oase offers expertise in all aspects of foot and ankle care. He is Board Certified in both Foot and Ankle Surgery and Rearfoot Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Oase is a leader in bunion surgery and specializes in innovative bunion techniques including Lapiplasty bunionectomy and Nanoplasty minimally invasive bunion surgery that improve patient outcomes. He treats patients of all ages including children and multiple family members. Dr. Oase understands the impact that foot and ankle problems can have on daily life and is motivated to get patients back to enjoying life!
