We are excited to announce that George's Tire Shop is opening in Phoenix Arizona. He is located at 5946 N. Black Canyon Highway in Phoenix. George has been in the Mobile Tire Service for many years now and has been very successful. He will continue to do Mobile Service as well as expanding into this area of service. As always, he is very professional and honest in business and will bring that with him into this new location.
He will offer new and used tires and wheels. His service will include balancing and rotating tires, as well as inspecting the wear and quality of your existing tires. He offers custom orders for wheels and tires. He offers service for fleet maintenance as well as heavy construction vehicles, which include semi-truck and trailer.
At George's Tires Shop we understand tires and are happy to talk to you about any questions you may have regarding this topic. There are times when you may travel from the hot dry desert to the snowy Mountain passes. We have solutions and advice for what you will need for safe travel in different and sometimes dangerous road conditions. If we don't have what you need on hand we will be happy to order it in as quickly as possible.
Recently my wife was driving our car which is a fairly new model, and we only had around 35,000 miles on it. She had been up to Payson, AZ for the day and said that on the way home the steering seemed to be loose and she didn't feel safe. So, I went outside when she got home and checked the tires. To my shock, the right front tire was actually coming apart and threads were showing. I had expected to find that the air was low, but not to have the tire threadbare at such few miles. So obviously we needed to get a new set of tires and feel like it's safe to drive again. It is surprising that some brands of tires do not seem to last very long. In speaking with the experts we were told that sometimes new cars don't have the best tires put on from the factory. So even if you have under 40,000 miles on your car it would be a good thing to check the tires or come in and have us inspect them for you to make sure that your car is safe to drive.
