Jaya M Mehta, MD, MSCP
Dr. Mehta is a primary care physician with clinical interests in women’s health. In addition to her focuses on preventive health, she specializes in care surrounding perimenopause and post-menopause.
Fellowship: completed Chief Medical Residency at Mayo Clinic Arizona 2018-2019 Schools; completed Bachelor of the Arts at University of California, Berkeley 2005-2009; completed MD at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University 2015-2018 Residency; completed Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic Arizona 2015-2018.
Dr. Mehta is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, as well as by the American Heart Association for advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS). She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). She welcomes patients 18 and older at Allegheny General Hospital Internal Medicine.
