Lauren Carcas, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist at Baptist Health Cancer Care and is fluent in English and Spanish. She focuses on treating breast cancer patients, people with an elevated risk of developing breast cancer based on family history or genetic predisposition, and gynecologic cancer patients. Dr. Carcas, who lives and works in Broward County, practices in the breast cancer clinic at Baptist Health Cancer Care’s facility located at the Baptist Health Wellness and Medical Complex in Plantation, Fla. She is affiliated with Broward-area hospitals and coordinates care with other local physicians, giving her patients the advantage of receiving the full spectrum of cancer care close to home. She also participates in community outreach activities to raise awareness of breast cancer and women’s health.
