St. Johns Inflatables, Inc. started out at a backyard get together, when owners Clayton and Koren had a discussion about Inflatables.

Koren is a retired law enforcement officer who relocated to St. Augustine two years ago with her husband Eddie and 4 children. Clayton, born and raised in Jacksonville, is the owner of a local pool maintenance business. He and his wife Ariel have 2 boys. Both families settled in the same neighborhood in St. Johns County and quickly became friends.

While having a BBQ, a conversation came up between the two about Inflatables. Both families had recently rented them for parties, and both had a negative experience. They discussed how nice it would be to rent new/clean inflatables from a company that took pride in what they rented and focused on safety. Joking around, they said they should open up their own company and cater to families like theirs. Clayton had always wanted to go into the inflatable business, and Koren (who has a friend who has been in the business for over 25 years) thought about it after retiring but never wanted to do it by herself. The two decided to take on the adventure together, and St. Johns Inflatables, Inc. was formed.
