David M. Shapiro, a former prosecutor, grew up in Santa Monica, California. He was, for fifteen years, a classically-trained stage actor who has performed on stages all over the United States. He is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, and was in the first echelon of Southwestern Law’s prestigious Trial Advocacy Honors Team. He is admitted to the practice of law in Arizona and California.
Mr. Shapiro knows what it means to work for a wage and he understands the issues that arise in the lives of hard-working people, artists, and white-collar folk alike. He has successfully defended clients of all racial, ethnic, and political backgrounds.
Before becoming an actor, he engaged in his mother’s family’s traditional life-style; he was a cowpuncher who worked on many of the largest ranches in the United States. An expert horseman, before attending law school, he was a Wild West Show performer in Europe.
