Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center (MMYTC) residential treatment for adolescent girls (ages 12–17) specializing in trauma informed care. Equine assisted therapy programming helps teen girls discover hope and resilience as they heal from trauma and learn practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, self-harm, substance use, and complex behavioral health challenges. Our approach is trauma-informed, structured, and nurturing—designed to help each client feel safe enough to engage in therapy, build resilience, and reconnect with the parts of herself that trauma tried to take away.
