DKHorn Engineering & Design offers a wide variety of Civil Engineering Services from concept to construction. Some of these services include the design of: streets, water and sanitary sewer infrastructure, storm water systems and structures, water quality features, Best Management Practices (BMPs), Low Impact Development (LID) principals, parking lots, foundations, retaining walls, septic systems, and much more. We have strong skills in the performance of drainage studies, engineering feasibility studies, structural and site assessments, and construction inspections as well as preparation of drainage reports, storm water management plans (SWMPs), design analysis reports, construction cost estimates and construction documents including site plans, grading plans, utility plans, demolition plans, geometric plans, foundation plans, septic system plans and construction details. Constructability, feasibility, cost, environmental impact, and user needs are among a few of our design considerations. Our experience enables us to provide complete construction administration services including pre-bid coordination, bid evaluation, inspection, scheduling, coordination with multiple contractors, problem solving, addendums, punch-lists and project closeout. Our goal in construction management or construction administration is to provide the highest quality end-product, within budget and scheduling constraints.
