With 25 years of professional experience in the financial industry, Connie is well-equipped to handle specialized service and provide treasury management expertise to not only legal, professional, and nonprofit organizations, but trade associations as well. Previously she worked for Wachovia as a personal banker and branch sales and service manager.
Connie specializes in all areas of business development and banking services for nonprofit organizations. Specifically, Connie develops profitable member relationships that generate interest and non-interest income. By identifying business opportunities and working closely with other team members to ensure professional service levels, she helps TowneBank create a reputation that the marketplace views superior in commercial banking.
Connie received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from NC State University where she was recognized as the outstanding student of the year for her graduating class. Connie is active in many professional organizations in the area including: Association for Fundraising Professionals, the NC Center for Nonprofits, Raleigh Professional Women’s Forum, the Triangle Tea Society and the Cary Women’s Giving Network.
She is a graduate of Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership 2.0 program. She has received recognition for serving on the board for three years for SAFEchild, which is committed to eliminating child abuse in Wake County, North Carolina by helping adults and children create nurturing environments free from abuse and neglect.
A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Connie currently resides in Cary, North Carolina with her husband, Phil. They have two daughters and two grandchildren.
