Johnny T. Nelson MD is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic specialist who focuses on complex problems of the shoulder, hand, & wrist. He applies the latest techniques to treat shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff and shoulder labral injuries, broken bones, tendonitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. He is one of the few surgeons in the RDU area to use in-office ultrasound to diagnose and treat upper extremity problems. He is a candidate member of multiple prestigious surgical associations, including the ASSH and ASES.
