MEET DR. SAWHNEY A Raleigh native, Dr. Anita Sawhney became interested in dentistry as a teenager, when she received orthodontic treatment at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Dentistry. Since then, dentistry has proven to be a fairly perfect profession for Dr. Sawhney. “I like taking care of people, improving their smiles and their confidence, and taking them out of discomfort and pain,” Dr. Sawhney explains.
