Robert Ziechmann, M.D., is a Neurosurgeon at Monument Health Neuroscience Center in Rapid City. Dr. Ziechmann attained a Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed a Neurosurgery Residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, and pursued sub-specialty training in Functional Neurosurgery (surgery for movement disorders and epilepsy) at Thomas Jefferson University also in Philadelphia. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a bachelor’s degree in German Literature, both from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Ziechmann’s non-medical hobbies and interests include running, hiking, and music.
