Robert Guitterez started by picking up scrap tires for a disposal service, then moved to used tires, which he sold to various shops. Robert eventually opened his own shop to sell used tires, grew into new tires and expanded into rims and wheels in the early 2000s. A second location was added in Bloomington in 2004 and Robert's son, Jose Felix, took over in 2008.
