Hon Vien, MD, began practicing in 2016 and is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He worked as a physical therapist for five years before an injury at work led to intense sciatic pain in his left leg. After trying various treatments, he ultimately agreed to spinal surgery. The procedure eliminated his pain and inspired him to pursue a new career as a spinal surgeon.
