About

Medical Career & Technical College was founded in 2011 by Kristi Bertrand and Trisha Mullins. Ms. Bertrand and Ms. Mullins bring a unique approach to healthcareer education, as both are healthcare professionals, credentialed in their perspective fields, and have taught at various higher education institutions for many years. Their desire was to create a college with a caring family atmosphere, where students feel at home and welcomed, while also providing a quality training environment staffed with passionate educators. Another desire the owners/founders wanted was to provide education at an efficient cost, but yet still provide a curriculum that surpasses all others, not just in a quality education, but also in providing the most affordable tution in the State of Kentucky. Ms. Bertrand and Ms. Mullins have found that providing education utilizing a stair-step approach, taking just one class each term, and attending just two days a week, has not only provided a quality learning experience, but has allowed familiies the benefit of being able to attend or return to college.
