For over 90 years, the leadership and expertise atRochester Hearing & Speech Center have encouraged children and adults in the Rochester, NY, area to reach their full potential in hearing, communication, motor skills, behavior, and cognition. The center employs the top audiologists, speech pathologists, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to develop unique, individualized, and fun treatments for every child and adult.The center covers two major service areas:
* Audiology: Rochester Hearing & Speech Center provides a range of services from preventative hearing care to hearing maintenance and treatment. This begins with thorough hearing testing available on-site and at nursing homes, schools, health fairs, and community events. Audiologists will then work with you to come up with the best treatment plan, including hearing aids, cochlear implant programming, or the Baha-Bone anchored hearing solution.
* Educational & Clinical: Rochester Hearing & Speech Center offers speech, behavioral, and physical therapy on-site and off-site. The staff serves children and adults at educational settings, nursing homes, daycares, and at home. Clinicians at the center conduct comprehensive evaluations of the client’s development. This includes cognition, language, learning, and behavior. They also provide speech therapy covering technical and expressive aspects of speech. In addition to speech therapy, the center’s occupational and physical therapy addresses gross- and sensory-motor development.
