Sean P. Cleary, M.D., M.S., is a hepatobiliary and pancreas surgeon and surgical oncologist at Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Cleary treats cancers and conditions of the pancreas, liver, bile duct, stomach, small bowel and gallbladder, with a specific focus on minimally invasive surgical approaches. He is an expert in open and minimally invasive surgery, robotic and laparoscopic surgery, including the Whipple procedure to treat benign and malignant pancreas tumors, liver resection for removal of liver cancers, surgical treatment for metastatic cancer to the liver and other abdominal organs, laparoscopic and open management of pancreatic neoplasms, pancreatic cysts, pancreatitis, hepatocellular cancer, cholangiocarcinoma and metastatic lesions of the liver.
