As a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner, Dr. Rookwood has the knowledge and expertise to treat various acute and chronic health problems, including asthma, urinary tract infections, flu, diabetes, and hypertension (high blood pressure).
Patients visit Elora Health and Wellness for various medical services, including annual exams, Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals, and STD testing. Dr. Rookwood also provides women’s health services that include Pap smears, breast exams, and referrals for mammograms and ultrasounds.
