After years of experience as a dancer, dance/movement therapist and movement educator, Felicia’s passion for an ever-deepening understanding of kinesiology led her to complete the STOTT Pilates curriculum for Mat, Reformer, and Injury and Special Populations through the STOTT New England Pilates Movement Center, and obtain her STOTT Pilates Certification.
Additionally, Felicia received the Pre- and Postnatal Pilates Specialist designation through The Center for Women’s Fitness, to facilitate healthy pregnancy and delivery, and realignment of the body after birth to include pelvic floor rehabilitation, and the healing of conditions such as Diastasis Recti, Pubis Symphasis Derangement and C-Section recovery.
Felicia’s experience of the synergy between mind and body makes firm her conviction that greater awareness of and connection to one’s body enhances well –being and personal effectiveness. Her mission is to strengthen the individual’s connection to his/her own body and promote awareness -- in the post-rehab client, the pre-natal client, the athlete in training, and anyone who is interested in increasing their core stability for a longer, leaner physique and improved body function.
