Angelo P. Giardino, MD, PhD, MPH, FAAP, is the Wilma T. Gibson Presidential Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Chief Medical Officer at Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital. A general pediatrician with subspecialty certification in child abuse pediatrics, Dr. Giardino brings extensive academic leadership and quality improvement expertise and holds degrees from Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Public Health.
