Dr. Bandt received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in California. She further pursued medical training at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She completed her internal medicine internship at Harbor-UCLA in Torrance, California, focusing on surgery, and went on to complete a dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where she was appointed chief resident.
Driven by her passion for providing comprehensive skin care, Dr. Bandt pursued a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery — an area encompassing a wide array of surgical and nonsurgical skin cancer treatments and reconstructive procedures.
As a double board-certified dermatologist in general dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery, Dr. Bandt brings a wealth of expertise to her practice. Her extensive experience includes cosmetic dermatologic procedures, such as laser treatments, scar revision, dermal fillers, and mole removal.
