Brittan Hosner is a certified nurse midwife (CNM) and women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP) at Intermountain Health’s Alta View Clinic – Women’s Specialists. She supports patients in Sandy, Murray, South Jordan, and surrounding communities, providing the full-scope midwifery services—from prenatal visits and birth support to postpartum and well-woman care.
Caring for women and families through some of life’s most powerful moments is both an honor and a passion for Brittan. With a gentle, grounded presence and a heart for connection, Brittan is known for creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel truly heard, respected, and empowered.
Originally from Oregon, Brittan moved to Utah for college. She began her journey in women’s health as a new nurse at Alta View where she quickly discovered her deep calling to midwifery. Later she returned to Alta View as a midwifery student—an experience that deepened her love for the work and the community she now serves. She went on to earn her Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degrees from the University of Colorado Denver, where she gained the skills and perspective to offer holistic and patient-centered care. Before returning to Alta View, she practiced as a CNM in Arizona.
Outside of work, Brittan loves to read, spend time with her family, and be outdoors with her husband and two young boys. Together, they enjoy exploring nature and soaking up life’s everyday adventures.
