Ricky grew up in a rural farming community in South Georgia where he learned the value of hard work at an early age by working on the family farm. He carries those values on today helping GFB members protect their standard of living. Ricky is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has also earned the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow professional designation, LUTCF. Ricky has always loved working in the financial services field and has enjoyed the opportunity Georgia Farm Bureau has afforded him.
In his free time, he still enjoys getting out and working on the farm or a quick trip up to Lake Thurmond for some lake time in the summer. He enjoys volunteering in his community and is an active member of Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church. He has called the Savannah area home for the past 30 years.
