Not gonna lie, nights like tonight make me nervous because I’ve seen how destructive these severe storms can be and how quickly lives can impacted. I’m thankful to be a State Farm agent where we can help people recover from the unexpected after devastating weather events. One of the best parts about being an agent is I have the authority to get up to $10,000 in customer’s hands after they have suffered a loss. Other State Farm agents will attest, this is one of the greatest benefits of having a local agent because we can react quickly to those that need assistance immediately to take care of essentials - food, clothing, shelter, etc. This is my typical set up in my basement until severe weather passes. Sometimes that takes me into the early hours of the morning. My team and I will be ready to assist you if you have storm damage. Stay safe everyone! We appreciate your business!

This guy is as humble as they come but he is an absolute stud! Mike Plummer and I go waaaay back! So far back, that nearly 56 years ago (April 16), he and his wife, Sharon, were in the waiting room at Fort Ord Army/Navy Hospital in Monterey, CA on the day that I was born! Mike tells me that “Sharon used to change your diapers when you were a baby.” Mike and my Dad were college roommates and played football for the Bisons in the 60s. Mike also was a stud pitcher for the Bisons. They both went different ways after college but Mike ended up joining the Army and my Dad joined the Marines and were both stationed at Fort Ord in 1969 when I was born. My family would come up for Harding’s homecoming occasionally and would stay with the Plummers. Lots of great memories of that big tire swing in the backyard and the legend of Sam the Parrott. Fast forward to 2001 when I opened my agency, I found out that Mike and Sharon were one of my customers - a full circle kind of moment. Now, 24 years later, they are still loyal State Farm customers and very special family friends. Between Amy and I and the Plummers, we keep everyone in line in the balcony middle section at College Church. We appreciate you guys!
