"Lisa is a postpartum doula certified through the Northwest Association for Postpartum Support. She completed her doula training at Bastyr University's Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations in 2013. In addition, she became a Certified Lactation Educator through Evergreen Perinatal's Foundations For Best Practice in Lactation Care (2014) and is in the process of becoming a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant (2019). Lisa has worked with many families including first time parents, single moms, same-sex couples, and surrogates. Through her business, Sound Infant Support, she has worked thousands of hours with babies and is excited to share her experience with families and provide nonjudgmental support of a clients unique needs and preferences . Lisa got her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. She is a Seattle native, has traveled to 35 countries, loves to read, and spend time with her grown daughter."
