"I've always had a deep love for babies and new mothers. I can still remember my first job caring for a newborn full-time 9 years ago. Caring for little Stella and her sister not only gave me a passion for newborns but also opened my eyes to some of the challenges new families go through and how the right support and community can make a world of difference. Since then I was hooked and have worked with babies full-time ever since. All my experiences with infants and their moms pushed me to pursue further education so I could help them better. I trained and certified through Birthingway College of Midwifery as a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I've also served as an assistant to childbirth expert Penny Simkin in her childbirth education classes. As a birth doula, I am a firm believer in empowering women through providing resources to aid in informed decisions while also providing a calm, warm, and peaceful environment. I provide the support you need to birth and parent in a way that best fits your own personal needs and values. I support all birth types and help you self-advocate for the birth you want. As a postpartum doula, I fit into your household according to your needs and help create a smooth transition to life with your newborn. My goal is to build your confidence by helping you understand and respond to the needs of your individual baby. My decade of experienced infant care have deepened my understanding as a doula. When I'm not hanging out with babies, I enjoy baking goodies, adventuring in the beautiful PNW, and making all sorts of soaps. Birth Doula Rate: $1600"
