"As a postpartum doula it is my belief that every mother and partner, regardless of race, religions, sexual orientation or socioeconomic positions, deserves access to unbiased and non-judgmental support, care and encouragement as they transition into their role as parents. It is my goal to meet both the practical and emotional needs of the families I serve. My personal call to serve mothers and families came soon after the birth of my first daughter. I have been a professional ballet dancer for 20 years, first with the New York City Ballet and later Pacific Northwest Ballet. My doula training came from Bastyr University and I received Lactation Education certification at Bastyr as well. I am certified through NAPS. I am also the owner at Tapestry Doula, LLC."
