Dr. Adam Boruchov is senior vice president and system chair of the Nuvance Health Cancer Institute. He is also the Eugene P. and Nancy J. Beard Endowed Chair in Oncology for his remarkable contributions to cancer care and research. He specializes in caring for people with hematologic malignancies (blood cancers). He is passionate about  expanding clinical trials and research to deliver the newest cellular and biologic therapies.

Dr. Boruchov earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell, followed by a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He joined the faculty at Memorial Sloan Kettering as a physician-scientist studying strategies to optimize immune-based therapies for cancer.

Dr. Boruchov served as director of research for Smilow Cancer Hospital at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. He developed as a physician leader serving as chief of hematology/oncology at Saint Francis Hospital, an oncology regional service line leader at Trinity Health of New England and chair of the National Oncology Clinical Excellence Council for Trinity Health.
