Navid Sadoughi, DPM, D.ABFAS, FACFAS is board certified in foot surgery, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery at Chevy Chase Foot & Ankle. Dr.Sadoughi provides comprehensive podiatric care to patients of all ages living in montgomery county, maryland.
Dr. Sadoughi began his professional pursuits at the University of Maryland at College Park, earning his undergraduate degree in biology. After graduation, he enrolled at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Sadoughi completed a residency in podiatric medicine and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York, a Level 1 trauma center. He thrived in the program, serving as chief resident during his final year.
Outside of his position at Chevy Chase Foot & Ankle, Dr. Sadoughi serves as chief of podiatry at White Oak Medical Center. He has special interests in treating complex foot and ankle deformities and trauma, diabetic foot infections, ulcerations, sports injuries, and foot and ankle pain.
Dr.Sadoughi has been salvaging complicated wounds of the lower extremity at the White Oak Medical Wound Care Center. He has successfuly treated many challenging cases requiring a comprehensive approach. Dr.Sadoughi has special interest in limb salvage. He takes pride and joy in healing his patients.
Dr. Sadoughi employs advanced treatment modalities such as: laser, biological skin graft, ultrasound, a 3D scanner for custom orthotics and on-site digital X-ray to ensure positive treatment outcomes.
As a podiatrist, Dr. Sadoughi takes a comprehensive and patient-centric approach to medicine. Whenever possible, he recommends conservative measures of care but has the expertise to perform complex surgeries as well.
Dr. Sadoughi proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and playing tennis and golf.
