Ernest M. Myers, M.D., F.A.C.S. is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist at Silver Spring ENT & Laser Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. Dr. Myers has over 35 years’ experience as a surgeon, otolaryngologist, and professor who provides a full range of ENT services to residents of Silver Spring, Maryland and surrounding communities.
Ernest M. Myers, M.D., F.A.C.S. also uses his medical expertise to improve the standard of care for advanced laser treatments in skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, and other cosmetic care procedures. The results of these treatments are startlingly effective when backed by the training and surgical skill Dr. Myers offers.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. Myers completed residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Washington Academy of Surgeons, and Society of Facial Plastic Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Myers served as Chief of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery from 1979 to 2017 at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. As Professor of Surgery and instructor in Biomedical Ethics, he enjoys mentoring students and resident physicians.
A 2017 recipient of the Distinguished Surgeon’s Award from the Howard University College of Medicine, Ernest M. Myers, M.D., F.A.C.S. is acknowledged as one of America’s leading physicians. Black Enterprise magazine and the National Medical Association Hinton-Gladney Lifetime Achievement Award have recognized his expertise nationally.
