Nurse Practitioner Kyra Tatman began her nursing career at the University of Phoenix in Gardena, California, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Upon completing undergrad, she went on to the University of California at Los Angeles, where she received her ACNP, MSN. Kyra decided to further her education and scope of practice when she received her FNP from the University of Cincinnati in 2019.
Now, Kyra works as a Nurse Practitioner with Beacon Medical Group Trauma Services. During an average day, Kyra works in collaboration with attending physicians, performs and documents history and physical on patients, develops differential diagnoses based on history, and performs necessary invasive and non-invasive procedures as warranted by patients’ needs.
Prior to working at Beacon, Kyra worked as a Nurse Practitioner in emergency care, and a level one trauma center.
