In 1977 producer, songwriter & guitarist Gregory Washel & singer, songwriter Dale Lester together formed the band X-IT.
A few years later after several recording studio appearances recording around 36 songs together along with trying to fit & moving several other various players in & out of the band Gregory & Dale decided to go their separate ways & dis-band the group.
At this point Gregory decided to begin working diligently on developing his own style & sound on what would become the future sound of Gregory’s Xit. Moving forward with working on this new style & sound Gregory wrote several new songs trying to draw some interest from recording companies.
After some time attempting to draw interest as well as some negotiations with several record company executives Gregory met an unbelievably talented producer, songwriter & guitarist David Biller from Michigan City, Indiana. X-IT was reborn with a new style & sound that Gregory was looking for yet something was still missing.
Moving this new style & sound forward Gregory & David produced X-IT’s first single (Stay Away) that landed X-IT into The Metal Archives as producers, songwriters. Soon after this success some critics wrote a very scathing article regarding the sound of X-IT’s lead vocalist so Gregory & David knew a heartbreaking change had to be made with Gregory & David’s good friend & front man.
After several auditions regarding a new vocalist in walks an unbelievably talented & unique vocalist, producer, songwriter Gordon Creech from Bloomington, Indiana & the last piece of the new style & sound puzzle of Gregory’s Xit was complete & Rockin On!!
Now we are moving this band forward with our new style & sound & very proud of what we have accomplished so far & have a whole lot more to come for our Friends & Fans worldwide !!!
