Andrew MackNair is a graduate of the Duke University Physician Assistant Program and has been a PA since 2012. He chose to be a PA because he finds direct patient care highly rewarding. Andrews enjoys working in primary care because it allows him to guide people toward healthy habits that can prevent disease and support long, active lives. In his practice Andrew encourages patients to take small, daily steps like exercise and proper nutrition that can help them ward off chronic disease. When he isn't caring for others, he spends time with his wife, Lisa, and their two sons. He also enjoys weightlifting, running, and cheering for the Buffalo Bills and New York Mets.
