We are the Inland Empire's largest used appliance store. Located in Spokane Valley, Washington, we carry all your favorite brands of major appliances: Kenmore, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Maytag, Samsung, LG, GE, Hotpoint, Roper, Bosch, Amana, Jenn-Air, Viking, KitchenAid, Speed Queen, Crosley, Kelvinator, and the occasional Philco. Over 40,000 square feet of retail and warehouse space! Conveniently located on East Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley, Washington, with easy access from Interstate 90 via the Evergreen and Sullivan exits. More about us: Here at Discount City Appliance, we are family owned and operated. Our Dad started the business in 2011 and through long days and hard work he has made us what we are today. He has 8 kids, with ages ranging from 28-43. They're all boys, except for six girls... Yeah, us boys were outnumbered, but it was mostly good times. Most of us have families of our own now, and when you visit our Retail Store you will see the "Family Wall" filled with photos of the kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. Four of the eight kids now work for our Dad to help him run the business. We have 10,000 square feet of retail space with over 500 appliances, and our warehouse is 30,000 square feet stocked with nearly 5,000 appliances and parts. One of the sons, Paul, manages the warehouse. What a HUGE job! Paul oversees and manages our team of technicians who are reconditioning and cleaning the appliances to be sold at the retail store. On top of that, he is a Dad to 5 kids of his own! Diana, one of the daughters, runs the Parts Division of our business. She also manages her own team of technicians. They pull and post parts online for our nationwide customer base. She keeps the warehouse stocked with all the parts they need to keep us all in business. One of her greatest joys in life is spending time with her daughter and five grandchildren. Jeannie, another one of the daughters, is the Sales Manager at the retail store. She takes great pride in making sure our sales team and store is warm and welcoming. Her 20+ years of sales experience has revolutionized the way we do business by providing a courteous and professional atmosphere in every aspect of our store. Her two kids (Yorkshire Terriers) are with us every day at the store. Then there is me... I'm Matt, the oldest of my Dad's kids. I have kids too, but only five. I manage our online and print marketing, social media and radio. My goal for our family business is similar to my goal for my own family: For us to be a beacon to our community, to help and to give wherever and whenever we can, and to be a place where people actually enjoy coming and talking with their friends and neighbors about. We're a very patriotic family, with a long heritage of Veterans. Dad is a Navy Vet (Vietnam). Both Grandpas served in WWII (Marines & Army), and one of our Great-Grandfathers served in WWI. We have dozens of other aunts, uncles, and cousins who are or have served in all branches of the military over the years. We love and appreciate our Veterans! We hope you will stop by and say Hi!
