Dr. Reed specializes in sarcomas in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute. He joined the hospital in 2008. He also is director of the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Program at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, which collaborates with the Johns Hopkins All Children’s AYA Program. He is the medical director of the sarcoma program at Moffitt. He leads the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Sunshine Project, a pediatric phase I research consortium with active trials accruing patients across the country and other trials being developed. He also runs an active lab with support from the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (nationalpcf.org), the V Foundation, and other community supports.
