Amalia M. Bonano-Rios, MD, earned her medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she served as Chief Resident.
