Christopher McElhannon, PA-C received his bachelor's of science in Physician Assistant studies from the Medical College of Georgia Class of 2001. He has worked locally in vascular surgery for the past 24 years. Christopher treats common conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, abdominal and peripheral aneurysms, hemo-dialysis access, chronic venous hypertension, varicose veins, and lymphedema. His additional privileges include placement and removal of temporary hemodialysis catheters, and previous privileges include endovenous ablations. Christopher has a clinical interest in all things vascular. He believes effective treatment stems from strong clinical knowledge, skills, and judgment paired with a willingness to educate patients on their condition, and treatment options. He believes in giving someone the understanding to make effective decisions regarding their care. When not working, he enjoys spending time with family. He is married with 4 adult children, and a large extended family in the area.
