Jeremy D. Courtney, M.D. earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UMMC as one of four chief residents. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonology. Dr. Courtney has been practicing medicine for seven years. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Courtney served as chief fellow of the pulmonary critical care fellowship at UMMC. Dr. Courtney specializes in a broad array of pulmonary diseases including asthma, lung cancer and sarcoidosis. His special interests include advance bronchoscopy. In his spare time, Dr. Courtney enjoys traveling, woodwork and spending time with family. Courtney is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
