Located in Stroudsburg, PA since 1996, she has built an extensive client base of businesses and individuals. Holly is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of East Stroudsburg University where she earned a bachelor of science in Management with a concentration in Accounting. After college and prior to opening her practice, Holly audited banks and SEC clients while employed at the nation’s ninth largest accounting firm, Laventhol & Horwath. Timothy J. Hegarty, CPA
Tim Hegarty became licensed by the State of Pennsylvania as a Certifed Public Accountant in 1996. He graduated Cum Laude from St. Peters College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. His entire professional experience spans 20 plus years in accounting, auditing, taxation, financial analysis, financial reporting and managerial consulting. He has worked in public accounting and has held various management positions within the financial services industry. Prior to opening his own practice in 2004, Mr. Hegarty served as Deputy Controller and Sarbanes-Oxley Project Manager for a major subsidiary of a $50 billion NYSE-listed commercial and consumer finance company. Currently serves on the Eastern Monroe Public Library Board of Trustees. Authorized to practice before the IRS.
Leslie M. Pinto, CPA
Leslie M. Pinto, MBA, CPA is a 1990 BS graduate of Montclair State University, was licensed as a CPA in 2003 and earned her MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson in 2012. Leslie is currently employed with Corcoran Hegarty & Associates, LLC in Stroudsburg. For over 20 years Leslie held positions in the accounting profession including as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC, then transitioned to Verizon for 16 years in various leadership positions and serving as the Associate Director in several departments such as, Finance Transformation, Sarbanes-Oxley, Planning and Budgeting, and General Accounting. Leslie also applied her talents to a small family-owned public accounting firm where she prepared business and personal tax returns. For 5 years prior to joining Corcoran Hegarty, she was manager of statutory reporting for a regional P&C insurance company.
Leslie’s passion has always been in the public accounting sphere, so she is excited to utilize her breadth of knowledge in the accounting arena working with clients to enhance efficiencies in small to medium sized businesses. Her goal is to provide guidance and lend her expertise to further their understanding of the financial performance of their companies while helping them streamline their processes and facilitate growth.
Leslie is a huge sports fan, avidly following football and baseball, but she also enjoys gymnastics, track & field, and downhill skiing in the Olympics. As a former athlete, including soccer that took her to play in Europe, her competitive spirit is not just relegated to the field of play. Leslie is also a self-taught baker, working on perfecting her family’s generational brownie recipe. She is married to Mike Grace and has 2 children, a son, Quinn, who plays football in college, and her daughter, Garrison, who is preparing to study veterinary medicine. She and her family have raised chickens, creating a small home free-range egg business. The family was involved in 4H with rabbits for several years, and their dogs have been integral members of the family.
