It was my desire to take care of the needs of people through every phase of their life that brought me and my wife Tracy to Sumter in the late 70’s. A small handful of people were looking for a pastor and from there a wonderful journey began. As pastors we have had the joy of taking care of people from every walk of life, from military to native Sumterites, and have been deeply enriched from these relationships. We have raised three beautiful and successful children here in Sumter, and have been blessed to be a part of this community for almost four decades. Now I am enjoying seeing our 7 grand children grow up here and thrive in the community that we have grown to love so much. By the time I was in my early teens, I had the privilege of traveling around the world twice, and had lived in exotic countries all over the world.

My father was a consulting engineer for a large international corporation and built nuclear power plants- internationally and in the U.S. Therefore, I was raised in an atmosphere that exposed me to the process of building and finishing massive projects. My grandfather was a banker and entrepreneur founding and residing as president over banks as well as owned an insurance company, car dealership and various other endeavors. Financing and building is a part of my family legacy, which made doing real estate a natural fit, and honestly a true delight. As a young couple my wife and I have rented homes and then owned and renovated several homes in Sumter. We know firsthand the immense stress that can be involved in buying and selling as well as moving and relocating. The highs and lows of this process can be daunting. It’s my desire to make this process as easy as possible for you. In addition to being a licensed realtor I am also a licensed home inspector. I decided to get this additional education in order to better serve my clients with excellence and honesty. Answering questions and helping people solve their problems has been my life’s work.
