Seriously ill children who require intensive care may be placed in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), where we partner with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, because they share our commitment to providing the very best care for children. The PICU is designed to provide intensive nursing care for our sickest pediatric patients as well as ongoing monitoring of heart rates, blood pressure and respiration, including ventilators and specialized medications.
